I started Iagenix last January and lost 27 lbs. Unfortunately, during the last quarter of 2007, I gained all but 7 pounds back!
This year I joined the IsaBody challenge and so far have lost 8.5 lbs and 6". Today was my 10th day. I am working out and plan to reach my goal of 40 pounds by June 15th.
My friend, RL has also joined the competition, and hopes to lose 90 lbs! Keep us in your prayers for success and health in 2008!

O.K. so I got my weight down and at one point went all the way down to 173. Then what did I do? I stopped using my plan, I thought I was invincible and what happened? Well, without maintaining a healthy eating style, letting work stress get the better of me (along with Ellen's Buns and all the other free food on set) I shot back up. I wasn't using my IsaLean Shakes, I didn't cleanse on a regular basis, I didn't pay attention to the junk going in the trunk.
Why journal all this? Well, it can't be swept under the rug can it? It's out in the open for all to see. Journaling is a wonderful tool.
So the solution? Well, on Tuesday of this week I got back on track. I'm having my IsaLean Shake in the morning with a reasonable post-workout meal (I actually pay attention to the calories, carbs, fats and proteins before I eat,) a reasonable mid-morning snack, a good lunch (well balanced) a small mid-afternoon snack, my IsaLean Shake for dinner and once everyone else is in bed and I can relax - a cup of herbal tea and a Slim Cake.

It's going to be another great day

Same breakfast and post work-out as yesterday. Did 1 hour of plyometrics this morning. Had an apple mid-morning. Lunch a nice big Tony style Greek Salad - Green, Red, Yellow, Orange Peppers, Feta Cheese and cucumber with some Oregano, black pepper and salt. The beauty of this version is no oil. The Feta and the veggies provide enough moisture and the herbs and salt give it that extra zing. Dang. I forgot the onion. Afternoon was even better than yesterday as no chocolate chip cookie. I'm pretty sure that 2 squares of really good dark chocolate aren't going to kill me. Funny, how the chocolate tastes soo much better when it really is just a little treat. Dinner was the Isalean shake - vanilla with 1 cup of those super delicious organic blueberries and a scoop of IsaPro.
Hmmm, looking at the charts it would seem that I need to boost the protein intake some. I really can afford a few more calories than I'm having. Maybe I'll make a mid-morning blueberry and IsaPro shake instead of an apple.
I'm still one day behind on the exercise routine and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it up. I may just have to miss out the regular Friday routine as I would rather do the Yoga to help improve my flexibilty and get that extra core strengthening not to mention that I really need to find my balance and my centre.
Well journal it's time for bed, going to get more sleep than last night.Wahoooo!!!

So to finish my day for dinner I had another Vanilla Isalean Shake with IsaFruit and IsaPro and of course my "Essentials for Men," "Omega Complex," and the Antioxidant. Once the boys were in bed it's time for a mint tea and a Slim Cake. All this and the days calories are well in line even considering I have to add in a choc. chip cookie and some pickles.
The best part of this day was that I was in control and in charge of my own destiny. I really want to throw far this season and compete decently in the Amateur B level at the BC Highland Games. I would love to see 75 or more feet in the hammer and 35 in the stone and I really want to get that 56 pounder over the 10' bar.

So for mid-morning snack I had 1 cup of organic blueberries and they are the most flavourful blueberries anyone has ever had, with 1/2 cup of skim milk.
For lunch I had a tuna sandwich on Squirrely bread with some Dijon mustard and four dill pickles (didn't count the pickles in the stats-forgot to write down the info.) One mini box of Sunmaid Raisins, 1 piece of Panda licorice and 2 Lindt Orange Intense Dark Chocolate squares - I'm not a martyr...
Afternoon snack 1 large apple and a small chocolate chip cookie. - cookie not counted in the stats yet.

Missed yesterday morning's P90X workout so I did it this morning. Would love to do today's at lunch time to get back on track but I'm not sure if that would kill me or not.
Breakfast - preworkout - Ionix supreme 2 oz., Isalean shake with a scoop of IsaPro and a scoop of Isafruits. Vitamin, Omega group, antioxidant, natural accelerator.
Post-workout - slice of Squirrely bread with a light spread of butter and a dribble of honey.

This past week I made a trip to Dallas TX to visit family and took a little side trip to Granbury hoping to see a few of my Isa Friends down there. Guess what? They are the successful ones, and they were all out of town at an Isagenix Event! Sorry I missed you guys! Maybe next time! If you're ever in Louisiana, make sure you drop me a line!

Aunt Josie is doing better. She had her second set of stints, and is recovering nicely. We have her moved into her nursing home and she is settling in.
In October, for Breast Cancer Awareness month, I attended a BPW meeting and there was a Plexus Pink agent there educating us on Breast Care and the importance of Monthly Self Breast Exams and early detection.
I shared with her the importance of nutritional cleansing and she showed me how to do a more thorough breast exam using the kit. We hit it off from the beginning!
When visiting her website to buy Breast Chek Kits for all the women on my Christmas list, I noticed that it was also something I could do from home. Now, as I promote Isagenix, I also promote the Breast Chek kits. These are 2 GREAT monthly habits that promote health and wellness.
My whole family, husband, daughter, son and sister in law are all promoting both, trying to spread the word that prevention and early detection are crucial to saving lives!
Needless to say, all the women on my list are getting Breast Chek Kits this year and all family members are getting something from Isagenix as well! Christmas/New Years is the perfect time of the year to get them started on a healthy regime!

It was a dark and stormy night... no seriously, it was the night before Halloween and I am frantically trying to get a costume together for our costume party the next day at BNI. I tried on a bunch of different costumes and EVENTUALLY realized that I was no longer trying on plus size costumes... WOW what a wake up call. I was brought to tears as I shared with my husband. The costume I was wearing was a SIZE 14!!! Believe that!!! I was blown away. That, by the way, was the first time in 11 years.. yes 11 YEARS that I had not had to buy a plus size costume... What a moment... That's all.. just felt compelled to share...
Have a blessed and prosperous day!!!
Love you guys!!
Ellen
